Today's outfit is a classic color combination (black and white) combined with SS14 trends and some turquoise details. Stripped pants were a total trend in winter, and what a better way to continue this trend in summer than wearing it on shorts? Oh, and let's not forget the kimonos, which were probably my SS14 favorite trend. The thing about this kimono top is that it's sleeveless, has lace details in the back and on it's ends, making it the perfect choice for hot summer days. With a simple white tank top to make it as minimalistic as possible, a gold-turqoise necklace and blue bracelets on, because in outfits like this, it's the accessories that make the difference.
If you want to wear black and white combinations during summer, make sure to break off the monotony by adding unique accessories and some pastel-colored details for morning outfits and more neon for night outfits.
The house were we snapped these pics belonged to my grand-grandfather's brother, and since it's located in Chania, Crete we almost never visit it. I was shocked by how beautiful it looks after all these years and how wonderfully the green door and the grape vines blend together. It has survived for over 100 years, and even though it has some damages, it still looks exquisite.
