Fall Shopping | 2014

Hello Fashionistas!
The amazing thing about fall, is that it's not too cold to wear your favorite summer basics, but not too hot to rock some winter trends. I recently went on a massive fall shopping spree, and I found some wonderful pieces, which I put together to create some outfits I would personally wear during the winter. I combined shorts with jackets, spring dresses with warm sweaters and much more. And since I loved them all, I thought I should share them with you!

Look Number One: Sunny Morning Walk

All from Zara. Top | Shorts | Jacket
Oh, you know the feeling when you wake up in one of those warm days, and think to yourself, is it appropriate to wear shorts? Yes. Yes, it absolutely is. Who said shorts are only for the summer? I love to take advantage of warm weather to rock my favorite light-colored high waisted shorts, and in this outfit, I combined them with a basic tee and a raincoat, to make it fall appropriate. If you want, you can wear them with dark-colored tights underneath. Add your favorite heeled boots, and you're good to go!

Look Number Two : Office Looks

All from Zara. Blouse | Skirt
Okay, when you hear the word "office outfit" the first thing that pops in your mind is button-downs and dress pants, but let's step up the game a little bit, shall we? Prep blouses have been on my favorites list for soo long, so I soon as I saw this one I immediately grabbed it, and combined it with a knee-length skirt.

Look Number Three: College Events

All from Zara. Dress | Sweater | Shoes
This is something I would typically wear to a college event, or a guest lecture, where I like to dress up a little more formal than usual. I would actually wear this as an everyday outfit, but with sneakers. I love the lace top and ending of the dress, and the maroon sweater just adds a cozy look.

Look Number Four: Funky Dinner Parties

All from Zara. Top | Skirt
The first thing I thought when I saw this skirt was that it's a work of art. Look at the way all those designs, and the way all the colors blend together. Art. Since it was so colorful, I decided to pair it with a simple white blouse, similar to the pink one above. For this look I would suggest a bright red lipstick and a simple hairstyle like a low bun or a tight ponytail. I would wear this kind of outfit for dinner parties or after-work drinks.
